The Labor Department (DAO) relocates and provides its services in the neighborhood through Tienda Legal Laboral.
ORANJESTAD - The Department of Labor and Research (DAO) informs the general public, especially workers and employers, of the relocation of its offices and the distribution of its sections in different districts of Aruba. With these steps, DAO continues to modernize its service to be more efficient and accessible.
Relocation of the Head Office, Administrative Offices, and Labor Investigation Section.
Beginning Monday, July 6, 2026, the DAO's Management, Administration, and Labor Investigation sections will temporarily operate from a new location. These offices will be located in the Department of Labor Progress (DPL) building, located at Engelandstraat 33, Oranjestad.
These offices can be reached by calling 521-5555, and by e-mailing DAO at directiearbeid@aruba.gov.aw.
Relocation of the Conflicts and Dismissal section
Since May 1 2026, the Conflicts and Dismissal section has entered the innovative pilot project called "Tienda Legal Laboral" (TLL), which focuses on prevention and labor counseling. To be closer to the citizens in the neighborhood, TLL staff currently offer their services and intake at two strategic locations:
- MFA Savaneta (Savaneta 121-F)
- MFA Paradera (Paradera 145-C).

Relocation of the Labor Inspection Section
In addition, the DAO informs that its Labor Inspection section relocated on June 1, 2026. It is important to note that the Labor Inspection section is NOT open to the general public. For all matters related to labor inspections/labor issues, use the aforementioned contact information, or visit the Tienda Legal Laboral (TLL).
