The government of Aruba has initiated a preparatory process to accredit public primary schools for Erasmus+.

ORANJESTAD—The Government of Aruba, through the Ministry of Kingdom Relations, Education, Youth, Innovation, and Sports, has officially initiated a round of preparation to accredit public primary schools to participate in the Erasmus+ (Plus) program.

This initiative is part of the first phase of the vision to strengthen internationalization in education, expand opportunities for schools and primary school teachers, and foster a greater exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices with international partners.

Through this preparation process, public primary schools will be guided to meet the accreditation requirements and criteria, enabling them to apply for and actively participate in the Erasmus+ project in the future. It includes guidance on planning, project development, collaboration with international partners, and the implementation of educational activities.

The ministry views this step as an investment in our children's future, aiming to provide them with greater opportunities to learn, grow, and connect with the world beyond Aruba. At the same time, this initiative seeks to enhance the quality of education on our island.
