SCAM ALERT – WARNING ABOUT FRAUDULENT TEXT MESSAGE

ORANJESTAD – The Public Prosecutor’s Office has become aware of a fraudulent text message that is currently being circulated.

The Public Prosecutor’s Office strongly urges the public to:

  • Do not click on the link in the text message;
  • Do not make any payments;
  • Do not enter or provide any personal and/or banking information;
  • Do not reply “yes” to the text message;
  • Do not respond to the message in any other way.

If you have received this fraudulent text message, delete it immediately and report it as scam.

The Public Prosecutor’s Office urges everyone to remain vigilant and share this warning with family, friends, and colleagues. Together, we can help prevent others from becoming victims of this scam.

If you are unsure about a message, do not click on any links and never share your personal or banking information.
