Royal Caribbean Group launches its cruise season aimed at Latin America

ORANJESTAD—Royal Caribbean Group has officially launched its 2025–2026 Latin American cruise season with a special Southern Caribbean deployment of the prestigious Serenade of the Seas.

The ship will sail an itinerary that includes Colón, Cartagena, Oranjestad, and Willemstad, with stops in Aruba until mid-April 2026, when the ship changes its position to Alaska for the summer season. At that time, another Royal Caribbean ship will take the itinerary, ensuring continuity of service and presence in the Southern Caribbean.

On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, a special ceremony was held aboard Serenade of the Seas in Aruba, celebrating the ship's arrival and marking the beginning of its Southern Caribbean itinerary. In attendance were Captain Carlos Díaz of the Serenade of the Seas, Wendy McDonald, Vice President of Regional and Government Relations for the Caribbean region at Royal Caribbean Group, Marc Figaroa, CEO of Aruba Ports Authority NV, and Ronella Croes, CEO of the Aruba Tourism Authority. Key members from Aruba Ports Authority NV and Aruba Tourism Authority were also present. They held a commemorative poster exchange on board, where they shared words of gratitude and appreciation..

Marc Figaroa of APA NV indicated that in 2026, the Royal Caribbean family will become our number one cruise line, supporting the largest portion of the market. Royal Caribbean Cruise Line will represent 27.1% of our total market, while the Royal Caribbean Group will account for 34.8% of total passengers.
