Reminder: Tomorrow, June 30, 2026, Is the Final Day to Pay the Second Installment of the 2026 Motor Vehicle Tax

Payments can be made at any DIMP office or online through a bank transfer.

Online Payments or Bank Transfers

DIMP offices are currently experiencing a high volume of visitors. Taxpayers are therefore encouraged to make their payment online whenever possible.

Using your bank's Bill Pay service, select DIMP, then MB, and enter the following information in the payment description:

Personal ID number – Tax year – License plate number

Example: 65234510-2026-A92000

DIMP recommends making your payment before 12:00 p.m. The date the payment is credited to DIMP's bank account will be considered the official payment date. Payments received on July 1 or later will be subject to a 50% late payment penalty.

Vehicle Registration Services

As announced last Friday, DIMP will not process vehicle registrations today or tomorrow due to the high number of taxpayers paying their motor vehicle tax.

Regular vehicle registration services will resume on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
