Reminder regarding the operating hours of the slaughterhouse (Veterinary Service) for the busy season in November and December 2026

Slaughtering animals at home is illegal and poses public health risks.
Anyone wishing to use the slaughterhouse services in November and December 2026 may do so from Monday through Thursday mornings, from Monday, November 9, through Thursday, December 17, 2026. The slaughterhouse will resume operations on Tuesday, January 12, 2027.
Please note that slaughtering services are provided by appointment only. Owners wishing to slaughter one or more animals for consumption must call in advance to schedule their appointment. This ensures the process runs as efficiently and smoothly as possible while maintaining strict hygiene standards and preventing infectious diseases.

You are strongly requested to bring your animals at the scheduled time. If you cannot make your appointment, please reschedule. Please be advised that service will not be provided without an appointment.
On the day of slaughter, meat can be collected after payment is made at the administration office. The slaughterhouse does not offer meat storage facilities and is not responsible for meat storage.
Please note: The final day for animal slaughter is Thursday, December 17, 2026, with limited capacity. Do not wait until the last minute—please book your appointment in advance.
