Prime Minister Dick Schoof visits Aruba.

ORANJESTAD—The visit of Prime Minister Dick Schoof of the Netherlands to our region began in Bonaire, and on May 10, 2025 continued to Aruba.

Prime Minister Mike Eman received Prime Minister Dick Schoof at Queen Beatrix Airport accompanied by High Commissioner of Police Ramon Arnhem and interim director of VNO Vincent Storimans. The visit to the government begins at the Bestuurskantoor and Cocolishi, where Prime Minister Mike Eman will meet with the Dutch president, followed by a meeting with the entire council of ministers at Fort Zoutman.

Prime Minister Schoof visited Alto Vista Winery, accompanied by Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs and Primary Sector. He also toured Horacio Oduber Hospital with Minister of Public Health, Social Affairs and Elderly Care and Addiction Care, Mervin Wyatt-Ras and visited the Correctional Institute Aruba (KIA) alongside Minister of Justice, Integration and Public Transport, Arthur Dowers. 

Prime Minister Dick Schoof traveled on May 11 to Curaçao, where he will continue his visit to the region.
