O’STAD Incubator Concludes with Demo Day and Startup Pitches

ORANJESTAD – Impact Hub Aruba recently celebrated the official conclusion of the O’STAD Incubator with an inspiring Demo Day, during which nine local startups presented their businesses at the final stage of an intensive incubation journey.

The event marked an important milestone in the development of entrepreneurship and innovation in Aruba.

Over a three-month period, participating startups completed a rigorous incubation program, receiving capacity building and professional guidance from more than 25 experts from academia and the private sector. The program focused on key areas such as business model development, market validation, strategic positioning, and investor-ready presentations.

Of the 11 startups that began the program, nine successfully completed it, with seven presenting their pitches to a panel of investors, business leaders, and local stakeholders. During Demo Day, entrepreneurs shared their vision, progress, and market potential, demonstrating the tangible growth achieved throughout the incubation process.

Three winners were selected and will advance to a post-incubation phase aimed at strengthening their sustainability and increasing their chances of long-term commercial success.

The O’STAD Incubator is an initiative of Impact Hub Aruba, in collaboration with the University of Aruba and the Chamber of Commerce, and is sponsored by SETAR, Aruba Airport Authority, and Aruba Tourism Authority.

The Minister of Finance, Economic Affairs and Primary Sector, Mr. Geoffrey Wever, attended the award ceremony and emphasized the importance of continued investment in entrepreneurship as a pillar of economic diversification, job creation, and a resilient innovation ecosystem. According to Minister Wever, initiatives such as the O’STAD Incubator demonstrate how public-private collaboration can transform new ideas into concrete businesses that create real value for Aruba’s economy.

Founded in 2022, Impact Hub Aruba aims to support entrepreneurship in a sustainable manner and actively contribute to a more dynamic, innovative, and inclusive economy for Aruba.
