ORANJESTAD – On March 7, 2024, the University of Aruba held its open day from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at their campus.
The Open Day welcomes secondary school students who will attend the university this year, persons who want to change careers, and professionals who want to improve their abilities. With more than 250 visitors, the event surpassed their expectations and attracted a multitude of people.
Visitors had the chance to learn about the services offered at the university through its Office of International Affairs and the possibility of studying abroad. Other services include mental Shoco Wellness, which supports student mental health and offers counseling to students, and the UA library, which offers various databases with international studies and others.
There were also information booths displaying the various study programs, like Sustainable Island Solutions through STEM (SISSTEM), Social Work & Development (SW&D), Finance & Control, and Marketing & Business (FEF).
What stood out was the interest in the UA Master’s programs, with many visitors showing interest in continuing their studies at the university.
The University of Aruba thanks the Minister of Education and Sport, Endy Croes, for attending the open day and encouraging the visitors to study close to home. They also want to thank the visitors and their personnel for their support and contribution to making the Open Day a memorable experience.
