Neighborhood Action reactivated

ORANJESTAD—Prime Minister Mike Eman has called a meeting with several stakeholders to reactivate the weekly program "Neighborhood Action."

Neighborhood Action consists of a group of agencies, such as DOW, Serlimar, the Bureau of City Inspectors, GKMB, Neighborhood Police, and Social Affairs, who, together with the prime minister, walk in the neighborhood and deal with various problems encountered on public roads.

This initiative aims to encourage residents to recognize certain problems and provide them with the tools to help solve them collectively.

Prime Minister Eman will visit the neighborhood this week from morning until noon with the partners. Being near the community is essential for assessing the state of affairs in each neighborhood. It includes sports fields that have been built in the past and that need maintenance, the lights, the sidewalks that need to be repaired, and more.

The government's commitment is to revitalize our neighborhoods in a structured and sustainable way so its residents can live a dignified life.
