Liliana Braamskamp-Erasmus Releases New Children’s Book “Zap! Zap! Zzziennng!”

ORANJESTAD – The National Library of Aruba proudly presents a new edition of its Children’s Book Festival, a celebration for all children across the island. 

The festival features a range of events, school visits, and the release of a special children’s book.

This year, beloved children’s author Liliana Braamskamp-Erasmus invites readers on another exciting adventure, together with illustrator Danielle Schothorst. Their new book, titled “Zap! Zap! Zzziennng!”, is a joyful and imaginative story produced by the National Library of Aruba in collaboration with Living Publisher.

The bilingual book, available in Dutch and Papiamento — bursts with color, fun, and creativity, featuring Chispito as the main character. With “Zap! Zap! Zzziennng!”, Liliana Braamskamp-Erasmus once again makes a wonderful contribution to Aruba’s Children’s Book Festival, inspiring children to read and dream. The National Library proudly presents this book as part of its commitment to promoting reading and storytelling among young audiences.

All participating schools will receive a complimentary copy for their school library. In addition, the book will be available free of charge at participating bookstores with a purchase of 25 florin or more (while supplies last).

Liliana Braamskamp-Erasmus has been passionate about writing since childhood. She began creating stories in elementary school and published her first book, “Rhyme Around Aruba”, in 2003. Her most recent works include “Aza and the Magic Doors” and “Zap! Zap! Zzziennng!”. Energetic and creative, Liliana continues to inspire young readers through her love of storytelling and her dedication to children’s literature.
