Library organizes three workshops for teachers

ORANJESTAD — The National Library of Aruba is offering three workshops for teachers participating with their classes in the Children's Book Festival.

These workshops prepare teachers for a visit to their classroom by a children's book author or illustrator. The workshops will take place at the library in Playa on September 28 and 29 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. On September 30, a workshop will be held at the same time at the library in San Nicolas. Registration is available via kbfaruba@gmail.com.

The theme of the Children's Book Festival is "Lights, Camera, Action!" Step onto the stage and get ready for a fantastic week full of book festival fun and various presentations. From bright spotlights to exciting moments behind the scenes, from loud applause to a story that calms your nerves—in books, the stage is never far away. Meet characters who sing, dance, perform theater, or make a difference behind the scenes.

This Children's Book Festival is all about enjoying the performance, whether you are enjoying it from your seat or stepping onto the stage yourself. Experience the stories with courage, creativity, and fun on stage. The 2026 Children's Book Festival will be a fantastic celebration full of spectacle, talent, and imagination. Lights, camera, action!
