Invited by A.T.A.: International football talent in Aruba to regenerate energy on local soil.

ORANJESTAD - Denzel Dumfries announced that he will donate approximately 60 Adidas professional football balls to AVB (Arubaanse Voetbal Bond) to support local clubs.

The international football star, who has Arubian roots, is on his One Happy Island after being part of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup with Inter Milan.

He made the special announcement during an official meet & greet with AVB representatives, with the Minister of Kingdom Relations, Education, Youth, Innovation, and Sports, mr. Gerlien Croes, and with the CEO of Aruba Tourism Authority, Ronella Croes.

Denzel returned to Aruba, his home away from home, to regenerate his soul on familiar soil and capture what the island means to him through a special content collaboration with the Aruba Tourism Authority.

Since Denzel is eager to give back to the island that helped shape his football career, he takes advantage of the opportunity to provide local football clubs with professional football.

"Aruba is more than just a piece of paradise; it is an integral part of my heritage. The island gives me a sense of belonging as well as an incredible drive for mental health. Aruba also helped me during my formative years as a football player, and that is why it is very important for me to give back to the island. To support local clubs and local youth and provide them with opportunities to grow through football, just like I did,” said Denzel Dumfries.

Later in the year, he will donate the soccer balls to the AVB.
