Gradual Reopening of the Air Border Between Aruba and Venezuela

ORANJESTAD – As previously reported, the Aruban government reconfirms that the air border between Aruba and Venezuela will be gradually reopened starting August 1, 2026.

In the first phase, the air border will be open for commercial flights. Each flight must comply with the necessary approvals and requirements of both countries.

Regarding non-commercial flights (private flights), the government will announce at a later date when they will be allowed to resume. Reopening this category requires additional preparation and coordination among the various agencies involved.

Once the border is open, commercial flights will be permitted based on the available capacity to properly handle them. This fulfills the commitment to gradually and responsibly reopen the air border with Venezuela on August 1, 2026, thereby restoring the air link between both countries.
