Governor receives the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the United Nations in New York

ORANJESTAD – On Wednesday, March 4th, the Governor of Aruba, His Excellency Alfonso Boekhoudt, received the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the United Nations in New York, Ms. Lise Gregoire-van Haaren, for an audience.

During the meeting, which took place at the Cas Ceremonial di Gobernador, joint multilateral priorities were discussed, such as the impact of sea level rise, Small Island Developing States (SIDS), elderly care, and migration.

Ms. Gregoire-van Haaren was accompanied during the audience by the First Secretary of the Permanent Representation in New York, Ms. Simone de Boer, and the Director of Foreign Relations of Aruba, Ms. Jocelyne Croes.
