Governor Receives the New Commander of the Royal Netherlands Navy

ORANJESTAD - On Wednesday afternoon, January 14th, the Governor of Aruba, H.E. Alfonso Boekhoudt, received the new Commander of the Royal Netherlands Navy, VADM, Harold Liebregs, at the Cas Ceremonial di Gobernador.

Mr. Liebregs was accompanied during the audience by CZMCARIB Commander Walter Hansen and Chief of IMS, Major of the Marine Corps Maarten Nederlof.

Given current events, the audience focused on current geopolitical developments in the region, their interpretation, and the significance of these developments for the region in general and for Aruba in particular.
