Governor Receives Rector of the University of Aruba
ORANJESTAD - On Monday, January 19th, the Governor of Aruba, His Excellency Alfonso Boekhoudt, received Ms. Sue-Ann Lee, Rector of the University of Aruba, for an audience.
It was Ms. Lee's first official audience since her official appointment as Rector effective July 1, 2025, after an interim period.
During the audience, Ms. Lee discussed the current state of affairs at the university and the challenges she faces. Topics discussed included the university's vision for the future, collaboration with other educational institutions, and the relationship between education and research.
