Governor receives Prime Minister of the Netherlands

ORANJESTAD - On Saturday 10 May, the Governor of Aruba, His Excellency Alfonso Boekhoudt, received the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, also Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Kingdom, Mr. drs. Dick Schoof, and his delegation for an introductory visit to Cas Ceremonial di Gobernador.

Also present at the audience were Mr. mr. dr. Bart van Poelgeest, Deputy Secretary-General of the Ministry of General Affairs, Mr. ir. Roald Lapperre, Director-General of Kingdom Relations and Mr. Vincent Storimans - Head of the Representation of the Netherlands in Oranjestad.

Mr. Schoof and his delegation will visit the Caribbean part of the Kingdom from 9 to 14 May. The introductory visit will focus on the Kingdom in a changing world. During his visit to Aruba, the Prime Minister of the Netherlands visited the Horacio Oduber Hospital and the Aruba Correctional Institute (KIA).
