ET-TNCA FBO ARUBA, operated by Aruba Airport Authority, joins the prestigious Air Elite by World Fuel Network.

ORANJESTAD - JET-TNCA FBO Aruba (JET-TNCA), operated by Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA), announces that, since last year, Aruba has been recognized as the 86th FBO (Fixed Base Operator) within the prestigious Air Elite by World Fuel Network.

This achievement is the result of a rigorous two-year process that began during the NBAA Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference, where JET-TNCA was invited for the first time as a potential member. Since then, the JET-TNCA team has worked closely with representatives of World Fuel, Air Elite, and other member FBOs to maintain direct communication and alignment with the network’s standards.

Following positive operational results in 2023 and 2024 and promising opportunities for future growth, the Air Elite board unanimously voted at the end of 2024 to approve the membership of JET-TNCA Aruba. Becoming part of the Air Elite Network reinforces JET-TNCA’s commitment to excellence in the Business General Aviation (BGA) sector, expands JET-TNCA’s operational capabilities, and ensures that each visit to JET-TNCA is a memorable one. As an Air Elite member, JET-TNCA upholds elevated service standards and meets strict audit requirements to maintain membership, with further investments in advanced service training for its Aruba-based team.

JET-TNCA Board Membership in Air Elite

Membership in the Air Elite Network is formalized through a License Agreement that includes the opportunity for JET-TNCA to serve on the Air Elite board for a fixed term. Meeting the qualifications required for this role, Jo-Anne Arends, Aviation Business Executive at AAA, was nominated and elected by the network as a board member representing all Latin American and Caribbean FBOs. This marks the first time in history that an FBO from Aruba has been selected to serve on the board, to connect to the broader network and increase aircraft traffic and new client arrivals to Aruba. This position is maintained for three years, with the possibility of a one-year extension.

The Air Elite board is a vital part of communication between World Fuel Services and the FBOs in the Air Elite network. The board contributes to key decisions regarding brand development, process improvement, and relationship strengthening. It represents Air Elite FBOs in business matters, helps implement strategies to build up the financial position of all members, and maintains focus on developments within the aviation industry.
