Department of Labor and Research (DAO) Closed Until Further Notice

ORANJESTAD – The Department of Labor and Research (DAO) announces that its office located at Paardenbaai 11 in Oranjestad is closed until further notice.

Tienda Legal Labor (free legal advice on work and dismissal) remains open to assist employees and employers with:

  • Questions regarding salary payments or vacation pay;
  • Advice on dismissal or suspension matters;
  • Review of employment contracts;
  • Mediation in workplace disputes;
  • Harassment issues or formal warnings.

Visit us at our MFA Savaneta and MFA Paradera locations.

The following office hours apply:

  • Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
