Department of Culture Celebrates 46th Anniversary
ORANJESTAD - On September 30, 2024, the Department of Culture (DCA) celebrated its 46th anniversary working for the cultural well-being of Aruba.
In a community where many people from different countries live, it is the culture of the country that creates unity and provides a sense of belonging, forming part of a community that warmly welcomes all who contribute to its development and progress.
DCA supports the cultural programs of various NGOs and has recently introduced cultural education projects in schools and made funds available for research, ensuring that our history, traditions, and customs are passed on to the next generation.
Minister of Culture Xiomara Maduro congratulated and thanked DCA for their work towards Aruba’s well-being.
