Clint Whitfield Award Presentation
ORANJESTAD—On July 30, the Kiwanis Club of Aruba presented the coveted Clint Whitfield Award to nine exceptional students from Colegio Arubano's HAVO and VWO, honoring not just academic achievement but also leadership, compassion, and purpose.
The ceremony welcomed special guests, including Minister of Tourism, Transport, and Labor Wendrick Cecilia and member of parliament Gino Goeloe, highlighting Aruba's commitment to youth empowerment. Proud families, school leaders like Mrs. Gwenn Davelaar, and Kiwanis members joined to celebrate these future changemakers.

Student Spotlight: Evie van der Sloot
Evie received the Legacy Award from Strena Creatives and shared her excitement to return next year for the 30th anniversary of the Clint Whitfield Award. She plans to graduate from V6 and continue her studies in medicine in the Netherlands.
