Calling Schools, Dance Groups, Institutions, and Cultural Foundations to Participate in the Feria Patriotico

ORANJESTAD – The Commission for the Celebration of National Days (CCDN) invites the entire community to attend the grand Feria Patriotico, which will take place from March 9th to 13th, 2026.

During this event, you can enjoy various stalls featuring local food and snacks, art, and items celebrating our flag and anthem. The CCDN has approached elementary and secondary schools, dance groups, institutions, and cultural foundations, among others, to participate in this historic celebration in various ways, such as through art, poetry readings, dance, song, and much more.

Secondary schools can have their students participate as volunteers, allowing young people to gain more experience with the logistics of our cultural events. Elementary and secondary schools can also participate in the artistic program (dance, song, poetry readings, theater, and more). Cultural and social institutions are also participating in the cultural fair with a Bon Comun (Common Good) exhibition, where they can set up a booth to showcase their products and/or services and provide information to the public.

Celebrating 50 years of our national anthem and flag, and 40 years of Status Aparte, the Aruban government has chosen to go all out this year and spread the celebration over several days, allowing the entire community to enjoy a festive atmosphere. Admission to the Feria Patriotico is completely free. The event takes place on the dates listed at Carnival Village in San Nicolas, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

The Feria Patriotico offers music, dance, art, singing, and other cultural activities to entertain all attendees in a cultural and patriotic atmosphere.
