Call for Applications for Financial Support for Projects under the UNESCO Participation Programme 2026–2027
ORANJESTAD – The Aruba National Commission for UNESCO invites NGOs, particularly organizations working with youth and whose areas of activity fall within UNESCO’s mandate, to apply for project funding under the UNESCO Participation Programme 2026–2027.
Projects must focus on the promotion of education, science, culture, and communication & information. Preference will be given to projects that add value to Aruba as a Small Island Developing State (SIDS), have an interdisciplinary approach, promote gender equality, and/or encourage youth participation in the community.
The maximum funding per project is US$ 26,000 and may be used to cover costs related to:
- Expertise (excluding staff and administrative costs);
- publications, journals, documentation, translation and interpretation services, as well as travel expenses for participants (excluding expenses of UNESCO staff);
- seminars, webinars, and training activities;
- scholarships for study or research.
Project approval is granted by UNESCO Paris. The complete application must be submitted in English and in digital format no later than February 5, 2026, and sent to info@unesco.aw.
