Buki di Pret Activity aboard Carnival Celebration

ORANJESTAD—On Thursday, August 14, 2025, the Buki di Pret activity occurred for the third consecutive year.

This year, the activity took place on the grand cruise "Carnival Celebration," offering 47 participants between the ages of 7 and 12 a memorable and educational moment in the fascinating world of tourism.

This initiative, organized by the Aruba Tourism Authority and Aruba Ports Authority N.V., aims to inspire Aruba's future generations. The activity offers a chance to experience the cruise industry closely while also combining fun with education.

The day included a variety of activities, such as a tour of the cruise ship, a delicious meal, engaging games, and a farewell that featured "back-to-school" gifts. The joy expressed by the children at the end highlights the success of this event.

During the activity, Mr. Wendrick Cicilia, the Minister of Tourism, Transport, and Labor, delivered an inspirational message. He was followed by Ronella Croes, the CEO of the Aruba Tourism Authority, who shared some motivating words. Additionally, Mario Arends was present to represent Aruba Ports Authority N.V.

A special note of gratitude goes to Buki di Pret for their contributions and their commitment to fulfilling the dreams of the children. The Aruba Tourism Authority, in partnership with Aruba Ports Authority N.V., takes great pride in supporting educational activities.

A.T.A. and APA N.V. thank Carnival Cruise Line for welcoming Buki di Pret once again, allowing Aruba's future tourism ambassadors to explore the cruise industry. A big thank you also goes to Fofoti Tours and Transfers, Rodman Think Branding, and dentist Hagens.
