Bridge Renovation near Wilhelminapark
ORANJESTAD – The Department of Public Works (DOW) informs the Aruban community that the renovation of the bridge near Wilhelminapark will begin on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
The work will take place on the sides and underneath the bridge, in the lagoon. To carry this out, two temporary dams will be installed on both sides of the bridge to divert the water beneath it.
The renovation includes repairing the concrete and steel that have been damaged and deteriorated over the years (concrete rot). In addition, a new sewer pipe will be installed in the lagoon, a new railing will be placed, and the bridge will be fully repainted.
The project is expected to take a total of 60 working days.
