Betico Day Celebration
ORANJESTAD - On January 25th, we celebrate Dia di Betico (Betico Day) to commemorate the birthday of Aruba's champion of autonomy, statesman, politician, and teacher, Mr. Gilberto François "Betico" Croes.
On this day, various activities will take place across Aruba, and as is tradition on January 25th, a tribute will be paid to Betico Croes at Plasa Libertador G.F. Betico Croes. On Sunday, January 25th, 2026, there will be an official ceremony at 9:30 AM, followed by a cultural demonstration at 7:00 PM.
Come and enjoy a wonderful celebration on Sunday, Betico Day, full of music, dance, plays, and songs. Visit the famous stalls starting at 6:00 PM to savor delicious local dishes, snacks, and artisanal products.
