A.T.A. honors Tita Iglesias for her professional legacy.

ORANJESTAD - Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.) expresses its deepest gratitude to Mrs. Esther Iglesias, affectionately known as "Tita", who, after a distinguished career, is going to enjoy her pension deservedly.

Tita Iglesias has been part of the A.T.A. since November 7, 2016, and has served with passion and commitment in his role as Events and Sponsorship Coordinator. Tita Iglesias is a cheerful person who always has a smile on her face.

Tita Iglesias has dedicated 41 years to the tourism industry, bringing his experience, knowledge, and leadership to A.T.A. But before she arrived at A.T.A., Tita served as commercial manager at Insel Air Aruba, leading operations and expansion to 11 destinations. She was also Romance Coordinator at Hyatt Regency Aruba, specializing in wedding and event planning. His career has also included leadership positions in marketing and public relations at Sonesta Resort and Crystal & Seaport Casinos. And so on. Tita has received multiple awards, including Manager of the Quarter and other honors from Hyatt Corporation.

To celebrate Tita's legacy, a special event took place on November 5, 2025. Ronella Croes, CEO of A.T.A., delivered a brief speech about her positive experience with Tita and the significance of her contributions to A.T.A."In Tita, we saw the perfect person to complement a team that consisted at that time of many young people, and therefore, a person with seniority was in place to help and guide. Tita—you did not disappoint. You continued to serve Aruba's tourism in great shape!" said Ronella Croes.

Patrick Melchiors, Destination Services Manager, also spoke at the celebration, in which he shared, "Tita, your wisdom and your knowledge have shaped not only projects but also helped shape the people who had the privilege of working with you. You leave behind a real legacy—one that will stay with us for a long time."

Minister of Tourism Mr. Wendrick Cicilia shared his experience working with Tita Iglesias, whom he thanked for the apprenticeship that he continues to apply to this day. So Tita made a positive impact on everyone who had the pleasure of working with her.

At the end of all speeches and unforgettable memories with Tita Iglesias, followed a special video with A.T.A. dedicated to him, and we could not miss the toast in his name, serenades, and our sweet Carnival.
