A.T.A. completes renovation of benches in Boca Catalina/Malmok.

ORANJESTAD - As part of the renovation project of Palapa's and benches, Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.), in collaboration with ACE Engineering, ACF, DOW, and ALBO, completed the work in Boca Catalina / Malmok on Tuesday, July 8.

It entails the replacement of six benches and the maintenance of eleven existing cement benches.

A.T.A.'s efforts to improve public safety and visitor satisfaction on Aruba's beaches have taken a significant step with this program. A resident, who visits Boca Catalina/Malmok every day to relax, showed great appreciation for the benches. He shared that the afternoon is quite busy at the site, and many people gather to enjoy the sunset. The new benches now allow more people to enjoy special moments by the sea more comfortably.

The facilities will be kept in good shape for the public's use thanks to the project's long-term maintenance plan.  A.T.A. is proud to contribute to projects that protect Aruba's natural heritage and promote the responsible use of our coastal spaces. It should also be mentioned that in Mangel Halto, the "phase 2" of the project is underway, which is the installation of a new palapa. New banks will follow shortly.

For the benefit of our community and visitors, A.T.A. requests that the community help maintain the new facilities.
