Aruban Cultural Diplomat Meets with Colombian Minister of Culture
ORANJESTAD - Aruba’s Cultural Diplomat, Michael Lampe, recently met with Yannai Kadamani, Minister of Culture of Colombia, to explore opportunities for collaboration and to strengthen the cultural ties between Aruba and Colombia.
The meeting marked an important step in reinforcing connections between the Caribbean and Latin America. Both parties expressed a shared commitment to fostering creative exchange, cultural dialogue, and mutual understanding through art, music, and heritage.
Lampe emphasized the importance of establishing long-term cultural partnerships:
“It was a very positive conversation,” he said. “Together, we can create meaningful opportunities for our artists and communities.”
