Aruba Tourism Authority with donation to the Foundation for Our Community
ORANJESTAD—The Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.) has donated AWG 8,000.00 to the Foundation for Our Community (FPNC).
A contribution that was generated during the second successful edition of the culinary event, the Autentico Aruba Culinary Festival 2025. On Friday, February 6, 2026, the donation was handed over in the presence of CEO of A.T.A., Ronella Croes, together with project leader 'Autentico' der Biezen, representative of FPNC, and other representatives of A.T.A.
With a mission to celebrate Aruba's culinary richness, the Authentic Aruba Culinary Festival not only brought the community together through food but also gave back to it. The Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.) is proud to support the Foundation for Our Community. This is a vital initiative aimed at providing food for families in our community who are facing significant challenges.
Foundation for Our Community (FPNC) is the official food bank of Aruba, which works day after day to fight poverty and hunger on our island. Through the collection and organized distribution of food parcels, the Foundation for Our Community (FPNC) collaborates with a network of social institutions, volunteers, and both public and private sector donors. This initiative helps families and the most vulnerable members of our community meet their basic needs with dignity and respect.
The donation of AWG 8,000.00 is a combination of credit left on transaction counters of event visitors along with an additional amount added by A.T.A. to this good cause. With this donation, A.T.A., through the Authentic Aruba Culinary Festival, strengthens and contributes to the sustainability of the foundation, allowing FPNC to continue with their vital work to collect, organize, and distribute food to families who depend on their support. In addition, the donation demonstrates the power of community initiative and the direct impact that a tourism-related event can have on our community. A.T.A. and the Authentic Aruba Culinary Festival are pleased to be able to give back to our community and will continue with initiatives that contribute to a stronger and more united Aruba.
