Aruba Tourism Authority Confirms Support for KLM Aruba Marathon
ORANJESTAD—Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.) confirms its continued support for the KLM Aruba Marathon.
This emblematic event established itself as a key part of Aruba's tourism development strategy.
A.T.A. supports this initiative for the sixth consecutive year, which positively impacts the tourism positioning of our island.
From its inception, the KLM Aruba Marathon began as a pilot project with all the different distances required for an international marathon, thanks to the strong leadership of organizer Kees van Muiswinkel and his entire team. The dedication to operational excellence, community participation, and strengthening the tourism brand has resulted in the event exceeding all expectations year after year.
The figures reflect the growth from 200 international participants in the first year to 600 participants in 2024, with a registered forecast of 844 international participants from 41 countries for the 2025 edition. 1,941.
