Aruba Airport Authority Welcomes Expansion of KLM’s Winter Schedule with Additional Amsterdam Flights.
ORANJESTAD – Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) welcomes the expansion of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines’ winter schedule, which includes two additional weekly flights between Amsterdam and Aruba via Bonaire.
This milestone strengthens Aruba’s air connectivity with Europe and highlights Aruba Airport’s ongoing commitment to route development and strategic partnerships.
The added service will operate on Fridays and Sundays from December 15, 2025, through March 27, 2026, bringing the total number of KLM flights to Aruba to nine per week during the winter season. The new flights will be operated using Airbus A330-200 aircraft, each with a capacity of 264 seats, resulting in approximately 7,920 additional seats for the season, which in turn represents a 9% growth from the European market for 2025. In total, Aruba will benefit from nine weekly KLM flights during the winter season.
Flight Schedule:
- Departure from Amsterdam (AMS): 16:00;
- Arrival in Aruba (AUA): 18:35;
- Departure from Aruba via Bonaire (BON): 19:00.
KLM’s enhanced schedule supports increased demand for travel between the Dutch Caribbean and Europe, and boosts access from markets including the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, Italy, Switzerland, and Scandinavia.
The successful realization of this route expansion is the result of a strategic proposal jointly developed by the Ministry of Tourism, Transport, and Labor of Aruba; the Aruba Tourism Authority; the Aruba Airport Authority; and Bonaire International Airport. This partnership underscores AAA’s vision to support sustainable, long-term connectivity that benefits Aruba’s economy, tourism industry, and regional collaboration.
