Announcement: Submission Deadline for 2026 Fireworks Sales Permit Applications
ORANJESTAD – The Aruba Police Force informs all interested parties planning to sell fireworks (klapchi) in 2026 that the application period for sales permits is now open.
Important Notice: This year, application forms can ONLY be submitted at the Shaba Police Station.
Forms may be submitted from today through Tuesday, November 17, 2026. No permit applications for fireworks sales will be accepted after this deadline. All applicants are urged to strictly adhere to this change and deadline to avoid any delays or financial inconvenience.
Requirements for a Fireworks Sales Permit Application:
- Valid photo ID (driver's license, passport, or local ID card);
- Fully completed application form (to be submitted at the Shaba Police Station);
- Recent extract from the Trade Register of the Aruba Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KvK, maximum 1 month old);
- Afl. 4.- stamp (Zegel);
- Proof of authorization from the Department of Infrastructure and Planning (D.I.P.) if using government land.
* Please note: If the sales location is not owned by the applicant, the applicant must provide a copy of the property owner's ID, as well as written documentation (such as a lease agreement or consent letter) proving property ownership and authorization for the sale.
