ORANJESTAD – Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) is pleased to announce the release of its Annual Report for the year 2023.  

This comprehensive report not only highlights AAA's vision, strategy, and company objectives but also showcases the pivotal role the airport plays in the community of Aruba.

AAA’s vision is to become one of the most sustainable, safe, and future proof airports of the Latin American & Caribbean region, providing a trusted workplace, modern airport facilities, and excellent customer service which reflects the Aruba hospitality, contributing to a prosperous future for Aruba. 

Its strategy is built upon four key pillars: 

  • Organizational & personal development; 
  • quality of service; 
  • innovations & new opportunities;
  • sustainability & social responsibility. 

These pillars guide the company objectives, driving it towards continuous improvement and excellence in all aspects of its operations. 

Some key highlights from the 2023 Annual Report include serving more than 25 airlines with more than 45 routes which included 5 new destinations and 2 new airlines transporting close to 2.9 million passengers representing a growth of 14% versus 2022. AUA Airport enjoyed an increased passenger satisfaction and experience rating bringing it to an all-time high level of respectively 4.50 and 4.32 on a 5-point scale, with 5 being excellent. AAA insourced its General Aviation (FBO) operation and has successfully done so during its first year of operation in 2023. AUA Airport was recertified under the Green Globe Certification program and level 3 of the ACI Carbon Accreditation program was also achieved in 2023.

In addition to the Annual Report, AAA also published its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report for 2023. This report provides detailed insights into our sustainability initiatives, community engagement efforts, and ethical business practices.
