A Children's Book Week Full of Adventure!
ORANJESTAD - From Monday, November 3, to Friday, November 7, the library will visit more than fifty schools on our island.
During this week, the library will present a group of children's book authors and illustrators. As part of the 2025 Children's Book Festival, adventure stories are the focus for all children on Aruba.
The Dutch authors, storytellers, and illustrators participating this year are Wouter Goudswaard, Daniëlle Schothorst, Jeroen Hoogerwerf and Evelien van Dort.
This group will visit different schools to share stories, engage with children about books, and inspire them to read more.
The festival's grand opening is Sunday, November 2, at 3:00 PM in the Paseo Herencia Ballroom. All children are welcome to attend this special show! The National Library of Aruba would like to express its gratitude to the sponsors of the festival: ELMAR, Kiwanis Club of Palm Beach, Quota International of Aruba, DeWit & VanDorp Stores, WEB, Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort, Plaza Bookshop, SETAR, Plus Accountants, Arugas, Kooyman, Superfood Plaza, and the Government of Aruba.
