18 students ready to start their police careers

ORANJESTAD - October 1, 2024, marks a new chapter for 18 police students at the E.J. Watty Vos on Fortheuvelstraat.

In the presence of Rocco Tjon, Minister of Justice and Social Affairs, acting Chief of Police Ms. Irma Gordon, and head of the Police School, Ms. Arrindell, did the opening of the new police class.

The students received a guide to get acquainted with the school's leadership, teachers, and the subjects they will receive.

Minister Rocco Tjon is pleased with the student's interest in joining the police force, and the school will add another class in November. Ms. Gordon is happy to have another new class and wishes them much success and wisdom so that we can have well-trained police officers ready to serve our country.
