ORANJESTAD – The National Library of Aruba is organizing the Children's Book Week again this year.

Illustration by Juliette de WitThe Children's Book Week is held in Aruba every year in November. During the first week of November, various children's book writers, illustrators, and storytellers visit schools on the island. They go into the classes to tell stories, to talk about books with the children and to involve the children in reading, stories, writers and the library. Education, bookshops and other organizations are taking part. It will be another busy week, a program full with many activities for children. The children's book writers cannot go to all schools, so after school, there are presentations in the library from Monday to Thursday (November 4 to 8, 2019) at 3:00 p.m.
