ORANJESTAD - Recently, for the second time, intensive training was held for recruits for the Arrest Team of the Aruba Police Force (KPA).

Arrest Team, or "A.T.", is considered a professional team that focuses on various areas, but one of its main tasks is apprehending suspects deemed dangerous.

The KPA's elite team periodically recruits new players. The recruitment process is highly intensive and requires various rigorous training sessions that have taken place over the past few months. This long and intensive process aims to achieve maximum quality and skill from the participants in this training.

This training is in collaboration with all countries in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, namely the Netherlands, Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire, and St. Maarten. Specialists from the various police forces of each country within the Kingdom have also contributed to this intensive training.

The Arrest Team of Aruba and colleagues from the Kingdom of the Netherlands conducted this training in Aruba. The Police Force thanks the team from DSI Netherlands and the Dutch Marine Base Savaneta for their support.

Chief Commissioner Ramon Arnhem is proud and congratulates his new colleagues from the Arrest Team on earning their blue berets. The training was possible through the joint efforts of the police forces within the Kingdom, fellow Chief Commissioners, DSI Netherlands, and the Dutch Marine Base Savaneta.
